1, Towards that rugged cross I daily crawl Sometimes with half dose of fears Sometimes with a bucket full of tears I persevere even though I am not alone With faith I climb that height of stone To see those long nails in his palms And the show of anguish in his eyes To behold that crown of thorns of his head To see that blood flowing to the ground Into his flesh those sharp irons went He shouted and screamed for the pains he felt At Calvary, there he bore all the pain There he washed all my sins away There he paid all without remains And yet he loves me more He called me a friend rather than a foe Unto that flesh wrought with intense pain I touched The body of Christ laid for my salvation Restitution made for my redemption And all he asked is, I believe in faith through his grace 2.
