we'll make love, we'll make babies

If the clouds could gather all of her lovely strength this moment And shame the distant Rivers that deprive us a pool of water If the chilly air could softly dance across the roofs and panes And time would stop boasting of his speed when he walks If nature could open her doors of splendor and beauty tonight And every young man rejoices in the wife of his youth We’ll rekindle passion, we’ll restore inspiration We’ll rebuild ecstasy so true beyond the wildest dreams of Mortals Touch me my spouse with the wonderful hands of your love Let me come into you, for in you is a corridor to pleasure Sweet paradise, allow me into the treasures of your bodies Take me in, and let me walk like a king invited by his queen. If the sky would annoyingly be brave this moment And bar the stars and moon from resting on her bed If the rain could fall freely without holding an aorta of grudge And the wind blows cool to every tree and cities If all eyes could

Dialogue ( lover's duet)

New books piled in heights of their wits Old manuscripts covered in shame of their tattered garments Too many letters to settle scores between words Never done with numbers that have infinitum friendliness Too much to read, so much I bothered not to miss I have read and thought, listened to voices strong enough to Provoke the inks of my pens Yet words are lost between my pens and my papers. Teach me how to write Teach me how not to repeat the lines Take me step after step into your world Show me that beauty hidden in words What have I not seen? What have I not heard? Lust grossly guised with pleats of love, sex sealed to a doleful mess Too many lies wrapped around a truth that cannot be noticed I have carried plenty of pains, hurts and sadness this long Tired of reaching out again with the last drop of faith Consumed by flames of my fears, soaked in the rains of my tears Too much to hate, gossips of how I got laid Teach me how to make love anew Teach me

Diary of Arike

I have done it all. Yes. Slept with all kinds of men. The tall dark fine ones without six packs, the ugly dudes with smelling armpits, the fair ones with body hair well shaved like a trimmed garden. The naughty ones who would insist on everything, pushing and pulling you all over every sections till they ran out of zeal and the boastful ones who would just brag about everything but at the end of the day fall asleep like palm oil inside the bottle. My name is Arike. I would not say I am proud of the job, i don’t even know if i should say i did it for the money or whether to affirm that i did it for a long hatred without healing. I was disflowered when i was still young to know the mounting troubles of life. I was raped by a step father who took the advantage of my unloving mother. I would not blame him, I blame my dad who was drunk to the point of meeting death on the express way. Life has being everything to me- the good, the bad and the ugly. The constant rape never ceased after t

A Good Noise

The noise began then, when the whistle blower was deeply buried in the sensation of a valley between two hills. The scrotum like a dam, due to excitation, released the next generation of noise makers. I am not very certain with the scientific arithmetic but I am quite sure, one out of millions noise makers survived within the valley before emerging  fully with a combative physiological pattern. Well, I have created a sort of distraction in your mind here but if you look deeply, bending towards your creative mind and weird imaginations, you will soon concur that you are one of the noise makers born on earth, distracted by a million and two things. While we were yet forming primatial shape in the womb, we were faced with series of battles within to come out alive so that our parents can be happy. A new baby’s cry most times is a wonderful noise. No matter intense the pain is to the mother, the baby’s cry is always the eraser that magically wipes out every pain written o

I love books

I love books I love books. I seem not to understand why some people loathe them. While some people see them as just collation of papers with letters embedded in them, I see them as worthy friends with potentials to change the reader from the inside-out through thoughts reconstruction and purpose consciousness. Books wield too much power than any combination of weaponry! Sometimes, my imagination just flips to calling them my adopted kids but unlike little ones that suck and learn from a mother, they teach me things deeper and walk me the higher ladders of life while guiding me into positions. Books are full of wit and wisdom, very much strength can be drawn from them, the more I read them, the more the light is paved across the road for me and the more I study them, the more I found my feet incredibly so high across the tents of the earth. Even the smells of books are overwhelming, the scents they give me spur the desire to breathe them in as oxygen like my life depends on t

My Bride

Ambience of passion with a ray of rarity My love has come like a dove from above Dressed in a flesh of spectacle like the queen of Sheba Adorned with a tint of carnelian and glitter Freezing all eyes as she descends from the stairs. Moments of essence with a gleam of radiance My beloved comes forth like the fullness of the moon Charmed with smiles lubricated with sweetness Her fairness halts the precision of time And clock takes a long breath for everyone to stare. Season of sensation with a glint of Oneness My bride shows forth like the presence of the sun at dawn Graced with fullness of beauty from the mines of nature Our vows, our words and our bond in body, soul and spirit And thereafter, life sings with joy of us together all our years.

My Oluwadetan

I have read the minds of mortals like books with thousand pages Scanned through hearts of creatures in a blink of an eye Watched the glam of starry nights Through the crescent birth of time in evening bloom, Seen the shiny silvery coins mock the stains of sweaty face And pretty gold stood the weight of fallen worth But still my lady, I have never seen a mind so calm in the midst of chaos like yours Or seen a shiny smile so beautiful like an harvest of the sun’s gentle ray I have seen the kingdoms of the earth in a flash of time Learned about the deep treasures in Angels and Humans Seen the distinct shades of natures in green around clustered trees With curly roots tucked inside the earth’s bosom Watched the stormy burst of the bluish Ocean, the smashing sleepless Sea The silvery crown of the mountains with dews, dreaming delta of the river Nile Sprinkling pattern of the dropping dew and an array of limbic lilies But still my darling, I have nev
